I'm super into emulating older systems. I have methods of doing so on my pc and android phone. It's so cool that we can play classic games anywhere and with so many diffrent ways. Its also super cool that you can use retro achievements to be able to show off all the games you've completed. I plan on beating/completing all my favorite classic games.
I started playing Banjo-Kazooie because my brother-in-law asked me if the sequel was actually a good game or not. He's played it but had mixed emotions about it. I never played any of the games, so I decided to pick it up and check it out. I'm a bit anal-retentive, so I started with the first game. So far it's great!
3/28 - I beat Gargoyle's Quest a week ago. I think this was a virtually perfect cheevo set. It wasn't grindy at all which was a big plus for me. Even the longest cheevo (Like old games ...) didn't take more than an hour and a half to complete. Though my first time completing the game (I played through twice plus started back at an earlier save after getting half way through for some reason. I don't remember why I did that.) it took quite a while to get through most fights hitless. This was all around a great experiance and I'm excited to eventually play the second game.
Gargoyle's Quest is my favorite Gameboy game. I've beat it a couple times on my 3ds. I wanted a game with very few achievements to play though just so I have one fully completed game on my RA account. I have never beaten it without save states, so this has proven to be a challenge so far.
